Memphis in May is the biggest community event in the city each year. KMPG chose to invite 300 key customers to the 2008 World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest. A customized mailer was requested.

AITG’s Solution

A thin die cut brass invitation in the shape of a barbecue sauce bottle was created and proposed to serve as a “golden ticket” invitation to the big event.

Results

The piece served as a keepsake but most importantly it helped capture the attention of their customers. The first class invitation attributed to a 12% increase in attendance at the event.
